Sowohl Psychotherapeuten als auch Psychosomatische Kliniken führen häufig Wartelisten, weil Behandlungsplätze nicht unmittelbar frei sind.
Es ist durchaus üblich, sich auf mehrere Wartelisten setzen zu lassen - das setzt natürlich auch voraus, dass man sich von der Liste wieder streichen lässt, wenn man keinen Bedarf mehr hat (z.B. weil man inzwischen einen anderen Psychotherapeuten oder Klinikplatz gefunden hat).
